Its historic center dating from the 16th century, Habana Vieja, is characterized by Spanish colonial architecture, including the Castillo de la Real Fuerza, a maritime fortress museum. The El Capitolio is a typical monument of the 1920s. Habana Vieja also has the Baroque Cathedral of the Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception (or Catedral San Cristóbal) and the Plaza Vieja, whose buildings bear witness to the architectural variety of the city.

As far as I can remember I have always taken pictures. I started with the things around me, the people I knew, then during my life, as my horizon widened, I photographed all over the world. For a long time I refused to market my photos, treasured as treasures on my hard drives and on the walls of my house, proudly showing them to a few friends during passionate discussions about trips made or to be made.
