Rajasthan is a state in northern India bounded by Pakistan. Its palaces and forts are remnants of the many kingdoms that once fought over the region. In its capital, Jaipur (the "pink city"), there are notably 2 buildings built in the 18th century, the City Palace and the Hawa Mahal (the "palace of the winds"), a former cloister housing the women of the royal harem, adorned with a 5 floors pink sandstone facade.
Le Rajasthan est un État du nord de l'Inde délimité par le Pakistan. Ses palais et ses forts sont des vestiges des nombreux royaumes qui se disputaient autrefois la région. Dans sa capitale, Jaipur (la "ville rose"), se trouvent notamment 2 édifices construits au XVIIIe siècle, le City Palace et l'Hawa Mahal (le "palais des vents"), un ancien cloître hébergeant les femmes du harem royal, orné d'une façade en grès rose de 5 étages.
As far as I can remember I have always taken pictures. I started with the things around me, the people I knew, then during my life, as my horizon widened, I photographed all over the world. For a long time I refused to market my photos, treasured as treasures on my hard drives and on the walls of my house, proudly showing them to a few friends during passionate discussions about trips made or to be made. Then one day a gallery owner specializing in Japan suggested that I exhibit and sell some photos. Thus was born the idea of maybe ... one day, to share them.
