Containing the historic city center, this area has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its “interesting mix of Baroque and Neoclassical monuments”, as well as “a homogeneous set of houses with arcades, balconies, railings wrought iron and interior courtyards ”.
La Habana Vieja (la vieille Havane en français) est l'une des quinze municipalités de la ville de La Havane à Cuba. Contenant le centre historique de la ville, cette zone a été reconnue au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO pour son « mélange intéressant de monuments baroques et néoclassiques », ainsi « qu'un ensemble homogène de maisons avec des arcades, des balcons, des grilles en fer forgé et des cours intérieures ».
As far as I can remember I have always taken pictures. I started with the things around me, the people I knew, then during my life, as my horizon widened, I photographed all over the world. For a long time I refused to market my photos, treasured as treasures on my hard drives and on the walls of my house, proudly showing them to a few friends during passionate discussions about trips made or to be made. Then one day a gallery owner specializing in Japan suggested that I exhibit and sell some photos. Thus was born the idea of maybe ... one day, to share them.
