Description
Triangular view of a Burmese temple from Bagan
Bagan symbolizes the birth of Burma as we know it today, through the hold over the region of its founders, the Myanma (originally the Bamar, "Burmese-Burmese" today forming the 2 / 3 of the country's population), from the 9th century. Their rule lasted for about 250 years, from these central banks and plains of the Irrawaddy, throughout what is now Myanmar.
