Description
Trinidad is a city located in central Cuba, known for its colonial old town and cobbled streets. Plaza Mayor, its main square in neo-baroque style, is surrounded by imposing colonial buildings. The Romantic Museum, housed in the restored Brunet Palace, and the Colonial Architecture Museum exhibit remains dating from the time of the city's sugar production. The Church of the Holy Trinity, a cathedral dating from the 19th century, has vaulted ceilings and sculpted altars.
Trinidad est une ville située au centre de Cuba, connue pour sa vieille ville coloniale et ses rues pavées. Plaza Mayor, sa place principale de style néo-baroque, est entourée d'imposants bâtiments coloniaux. Le musée romantique, installé dans le palais Brunet restauré, et le musée d'Architecture coloniale exposent des vestiges datant de l'époque de la production sucrière de la ville. L'église de la Sainte-Trinité, cathédrale datant du XIXe siècle, possède des plafonds voûtés et des autels sculptés.
